Description
The data set contains standardized information on labor protest events in Kazakhstan in 2021 and 2022 coded from daily news reports. Sources of information are internet versions of newspapers, news agencies and portals, websites of trade unions, parties, public organizations, etc. The selected reports are coded in accordance with a specifically developed coding scheme and entered in a quantitative database (SPSS file). The SPSS file is in Russian. The file "Documentation_MLP-Kazakhstan.pdf" contains an English translation of all codes and values.
